Today, I get to share my latest post in my collaboration with Healthgrades: My Daily Routine With Chronic Lyme Disease.
Lyme disease and other chronic illnesses throw many curveballs, and this is just a small snapshot of the ups and downs of life living with an invisible illness. No matter what, I’ll keep fighting until the day this illness is in remission.
Emmi and Opal look like the best allies you could ever ask for! How overlooked the contribution our stout other-species companions make to our lives! Especially when the chips are down and there is no dip in sight. Clicked to see what your supplements were and I supposed they were omitted for legal or medical reasons. Best of luck to you!
Hi Tom,
Emmi and Opal appreciate your comment. 😉 The supplements in my hand are just a hodge podge of color for the pic. Right now, I routinely take methylated B-vitamins, liver support, biofilm busters, a probiotic, and several ones for sleep. I anticipate I’ll be changing my treatment up in the fall, so I’m not jumping on purchasing anything new for awhile. For now, I’m just covering the basics.
You’re article saved me. So grounding and humbled by this, that I’ve printed it off to read when I’m feeling pathetic. Although I joined a Facebook support group, there’s too much negativity. I desperately needed some positive grounding and you provided that for me. Thank you so very much!
P.S. Turbo, Diesel & Qwerty are my pups names and they do provide great support as well as my amazing husband & children. Now if I can just get well enough to get my horse back home, most all will be right with the world. 😉
Denise,
Your words are like balm to my weary heart today. Behind the scenes, I’ve been enduring a lot, so you’re message really picked me up today. Thank you for that. I’m so glad you have a furry and human support system. What kind of pups do you have?
Jenny
2 Rat Terriers and a Chihuahua! Lol. So glad to hear my message helped you, as yours helped me! I’ll be here for you whenever you need a “pick me up”. You’ve certainly given me hope that no matter what the day is like today, tomorrow can be better. Most of all, to be kind to myself. Blessings to you. Thank you for writing.
Yay for pooches! I’m pretty sure my Emmi is a rat terrier/chihuahua mix. She’s a smarty pants — that’s for sure! Yes, this is a two-way street. Your message definitely gave me a boost when I needed it the most, and I’m very grateful for that.
Blessings to you as well,
Jenny
